Results of the work
The Foundation supports initiatives that create a positive environment for growing up, open up access to new resources, provide an opportunity to acquire the necessary skills and abilities, and assist in setting on a sustainable trajectory of positive development.
Such initiatives become tools for preventing and minimizing the adverse impact of difficult circumstances on the future of children and teenagers.
In accordance with the strategy, the priority goal of CSS is to support socially disadvantaged and vulnerable children, teenagers and young people aged between 7 and 25, including:
- orphans;
- children left without parental care;
- children from foster families;
- children with disabilities, i.e. physical and/or mental development conditions;
- children in extreme hardship;
- children from low-income families;
- children whose lives are objectively disrupted by their circumstances and who are unable to handle such circumstances themselves or with the help of their families.
Since 2019, the CSS Foundation has achieved the following results:
"The distinctive feature of the CSS Foundation is that all its activities are based on the concept of positive youth development. This concept involves helping children and young people to strengthen their positive self-esteem and improve their relationships with others, as well as creating conditions for their active participation in socially significant initiatives. It is important that the concept of positive youth development is not only confirmed by decades of successful practical application in our country and abroad, but also has a serious scientific basis connected with humanistic values and traditions."

"The CSS Charitable Foundation is breaking stereotypes. In 2023, with great interest and enthusiasm, the staff of our non-profit organization participated in modeling the competition agenda and expert review of the draft Regulations of the upcoming competition on mentoring orphans and children without parental care. Being engaged in the development and implementation of mentoring technology in the region for more than 10 years, we have tested a variety of methods to involve concerned people in mentoring, increase their competencies, form emotional attachment, and support mentor-mentee pairs. As a result, we know different aspects of achievements and weak points in the process.
We are very pleased that our suggestions were taken into account in the final Regulations on the Competition".

"An important but still rare practice in the donor community is to conduct a pre-project study prior to the design of a program to support a particular area.
It is important to emphasize that CSS foundation already applies this principle in its practice during preparation of new charity programs.
Such preparatory work makes it possible to define more precisely and clearly the initial starting point and possible scenarios to achieve the goal. It is a great professional pleasure to share such an approach and to be involved in such a task".
