Theory of change

In 2022, we came to the ultimate realization that we need to incorporate a monitoring and evaluation system into the Foundation’s operations For that, we have formulated a theory of change that describes the interconnections between CSS’s financial and non-financial contributions to partner projects, and between the areas of support, activities and outcomes that will guide CSS’s primary beneficiaries, children and teenagers in difficult circumstances, into successful adulthood.

We are also convinced that resource adults are necessary for positive youth development. Accordingly, the Foundation places special emphasis on supporting professionals, volunteers and mentors to help them achieve quality improvements in their performance, scale out positive experiences, and create an efficient network of partners.
