Project idea
The "Green Television" project is an initiative aimed at involving orphans from Family Education Support Center No. 7 in St. Petersburg, including children with special health needs, in environmental education, plant cultivation training, and participation in volunteer activities.
The aim of the project is to popularize children's environmental volunteering. Through the creation of a series of short animated videos, children will learn about environmental issues and solutions and will be able to influence public consciousness by becoming role models and inspirations.
The goals will be accomplished through a series of educational and experiential activities. Children will work with experienced teachers, learn different formats and genres of video, animation techniques, story construction methods, rules of filming and sound recording, as well as the basics of editing. This will provide them with the necessary skills to create quality content that will be distributed online and presented at international children's film festivals.
The "Green Television" project goes beyond traditional education, giving children the opportunity to become active participants in social life, develop creative potential and professional skills that will contribute to their professional adaptation in the future.
"Green Television" is a comprehensive program aimed at developing environmental awareness and activity among orphaned children, which in turn contributes to their sense of responsibility and active citizenship. Creating animated videos is a key tool in achieving these goals, allowing children to not only learn but also to share their knowledge and experiences with a wider audience.
Relevance
The "Green Television" project is a socially significant initiative aimed at supporting orphans and graduates of orphanages, as well as at solving environmental problems of the society. Supporting this project has huge social significance for a lot of people.
First, it combats the stigma of orphanhood by changing negative perceptions of this social group. Research shows that stereotypes such as "orphanhood is a destructive phenomenon" and "orphans are future deviants" have a negative impact on children, contributing to the formation of passivity and maladaptability. Supporting the project will enable orphans to become active participants in society and help them overcome the negative consequences of stigmatization.
Secondly, the project helps orphanage graduates with social and professional adaptation. It is proven that such young people have low starting opportunities in the labor market. The support for "Green Television" will enable them to gain the skills and confidence they need through volunteering, increasing the chances of the children having a successful career.
Thirdly, the project solves environmental problems of the society by involving children and teenagers in volunteer activities. This allows not only solving current environmental problems, but also fostering a responsible attitude towards the environment in future generations.
Thus, the support of the "Green Television" project is very important for the target audience, as it helps orphans to become active members of society, provides orphanage graduates with an opportunity for successful social and professional adaptation, and contributes to the solution of environmental problems through the involvement of young people in volunteer activities.
Social effect

Project Results
"Green Television" is an example of a successful social initiative aimed at involving children from Family Education Support Center No. 7, including those with special health needs, in active environmental activities and volunteering.
The children involved in the "Green Television" project have made significant progress in various aspects of their development. They not only acquired new knowledge and skills, but also had the opportunity to put them into practice by participating in environmental actions and creating animated films. This allowed children, including those with special health needs, to feel part of a big and important cause, strengthened their social ties and fostered a sense of their own importance and usefulness.
The project has also changed the public perception of orphans. Now they are seen not just as children in difficult life circumstances, but as young citizens actively participating in society and contributing to the common good.
The project provided a unique opportunity for government agencies and NGOs across the country to expand their programs to include elements of children's volunteering. This allowed for the evaluation and implementation of new approaches to working with children, and attracted new stakeholders willing to support and develop the project.
