Project idea
The "UMka Online" project involves creating an innovative online platform for remote psychological and pedagogical assistance to children and families during the pandemic.
The platform provides a wide range of services: video lessons, online consultations, hotline, developmental activities, webinars for parents.
A team of 10 specialists from the center — psychologists, speech therapists, social educators — work daily to create an individual supportive and developmental environment for each family in need.
Relevance
The social significance of the "UMka Online" project results from the need to ensure continuity of psychological and pedagogical assistance to children with disabilities who experience difficulties in social adaptation, as well as their parents during the pandemic.
A survey showed that 67% of parents whose children attend the "UMka" center need remote services, emphasizing the project's relevance.
"UMka Online" will maintain the emotional connection between parents, children, and educators, which is especially important during social isolation. Continuing to work with already familiar specialists will help avoid wasting time on establishing new relationships and trust, as well as ensure an individual approach to each child and family, maintaining the effectiveness of the services provided.
Social effect
Reducing stress in children with special health needs due to restrictions caused by COVID-2019. Maintaining the level and quality of the educational process for children with special health needs in conditions of social isolation due to COVID-2019.
