Why CSS?

29/10/2021
CSS charity foundation has a very interesting name history.

It originates in the northwest of Scotland, where each clan traditionally had its own coat of arms and motto. The motto of the family of our founder, David Russell, was the proverb Che Sara Sara, which means “What will be will be”.

So the first three letters of the motto became the name of CSS, which David Russell founded.

Years passed, and with the development of the fund's activities and our partner projects throughout the country, it became obvious that today CSS is not just a single foundation, but the whole community of Russian non-profit organizations, it is a big family. Therefore, today we decipher the abbreviation CSS as "community of support and success", providing support and success to all our projects, partners and charity beneficiaries.
