On June 19, our partner, the "Sport for All" Foundation, organized a sports and tourism camp for the participants of the "Volleyball for All" project, their parents and friends.

As a reminder, more than 30 children with intellectual disabilities, including those with autism, Down syndrome and mental retardation, regularly play adaptive volleyball in Rostov-on-Don as part of the "Volleyball for All" project.

The organizers of the event have set up a tent camp in the open air. Young athletes, coaches, volunteers, parents and other guests fished, cooked on fire, swam and, of course, played sports.

Nikiforos Parfeniotis - CSS Foundation Manager was a special guest at the event:

"A wonderful project! The kids are great, I was at the sports festival in February and I can see how much they have learned since then. I am very happy to see that adaptive volleyball is actively developing in Rostov-on-Don as a part of social sports. Children, their parents, professional athletes and leaders of various sports and social initiatives are creating a strong community of people who have a common interest in helping children with disabilities to reach their full potential.

We wish the "Sports for All" team continued success on their difficult and important journey from social isolation of children with disabilities to their well-being and integration into society.
