Young to young

Young to young. This is how we can briefly describe the essence of our partners' project.

The Focus Media Foundation's project 'Mentoring for Children from Dysfunctional Families’ aims to pair young people who have overcome issues with law enforcement, addiction, and deviant behavior with children who are currently facing similar challenges.

Young psychologists and teachers will assist mentors and teenagers in developing supportive relationships. Due to their youth, they can better comprehend the emotions of the young people, which helps to establish trust.

The project began in October 2023, during this time:

- 15 peer mentors participated in the first training on the Life Skills Constructor program.

- 32 parents of vulnerable adolescents have been informed about the Life Skills Constructor program's goals and content and have given permission for their children to participate.

- 53 teenagers are enrolled in the program.
