Olga Suslova attended the final event of the project, which helps junior schoolchildren to become more successful in their studies and life.

CSS Foundation President Olga Suslova traveled to the North-East of Russia to Kirov to participate the interregional conference of our partners. Thanks to winning the "Stronger with CSS. School of Opportunities" Competition, the Center for Social and Psychological Assistance has been helping young pupils from vulnerable groups to become more successful and self-confident through the creation of a favorable educational environment for a year.

The conference brought together participants of the "Portfolio of Social Competencies" project: teachers, employees of the guardianship authorities and the local boarding school, as well as representatives of the Kostroma and Nizhny Novgorod foundations, who have utilized practices of the Center in their regions.

The conference was dynamic. "I found the interactive format engaging. It made me feel like a first-grader and let me try out educational programs," said Olga.

Unfortunately, during the year it was not possible to build relationships with guardians and relatives of children at a qualitative level. They were not ready to reconsider their approach to upbringing and were skeptical of many of the Center's initiatives. However, given the high level of motivation and enthusiasm demonstrated by those involved, I am confident that the Center will be able to achieve its goals. The key is to maintain momentum."
