Far East without orphans
Immersion in the charity sector of Russia’s Far East region continues. Today Olga met with the team of «Far East without orphans» foundation at Komsomolsk-on-Amour city. This organization was founded thanks to participation in the educational project of «There are no other people’s children» foundation, (Stronger with CSS competition, 2020)

«Far East without orphans» helps vulnerable families with children.
Its infrastructure includes:
- A crisis center for mothers and their children
- A social shop
- A school for conscious parenting
- A school for foster parents
- Volunteers movement, providing direct aid
Founders, Mikhail and Mariya Tolstykh invited Olga to the Children’s house #8.
Here, specialists of «Far East without orphans» each week have conversations with children who are staying at or already left the children’s house about conscious parenting.
In Komsomolsk-on-Amour local NGO’s work in close cooperation with each other.
Thus, Olga met with the director of Center for children with disabilities «My Joy». Victoria Klykova made Olga familiar with the team and the system of rehabilitation and habilitation for children with disabilities.
The Center’s team is open for new knowledge and experience exchange and is currently looking for mentors and partners. We will write in more details about it in the nearest future.
