It's no secret that the CSS foundation team is concerned about children independent living - graduates of orphanages. When a child has parents, they can often help with buying a new property or to allocate a share in family property. Children without parental care have no such chance. Alexandra Telitsyna took part in the round table “Certificate for housing for orphans: you can’t put off the launch”.

During the round table, the contribution of non-profit sector organizations to the achievement of national goals was discussed - improving housing conditions, developing the family institution, increasing birth rates, and others. Suggestions were made to update the existing package of measures to provide housing, including a housing certificate for the purchase of housing. For example, to issue a certificate only to socialized graduates who have a permanent job. During the round table, the successful experience of several regions was analyzed for its replication to all subjects of the Russian Federation.

Alexandra Telitsyna made a presentation entitled “Suggestions for improving the current package of measures aimed at providing quality housing for orphans”. Alexandra paid special attention to the possibility of creating a structure that controls the state of the housing stock of secondary housing, which is now issued to graduates of orphanages.

We note, that our project “Zaluzhye” helps graduates with special health abilities not to get into the PNI (psycho-neurological boarding school) after leaving the orphanage, but to get the opportunity to be accompanied by independent living. This became possible thanks to the initiator of the project, the director of the orphanage, Elena Nikolaevna Vashchenko, and with our help. We are happy to be involved, and we will continue to help children who are less fortunate in life.
