The foundation "All are one!" completed a project within the framework of the CSS Competition
Now there will be more mentors for orphans in Krasnoyarsk Krai.

Mentoring teenagers from orphanages helps them socialize and also helps society understand and solve problems of children's disadvantage.
The foundation "All are one!" has teamed up with CSS to make mentoring a big part of the culture in the Krasnoyarsk region.
The team ran a great campaign to let locals know how their help in socializing orphans could change the lives of individual children.
As a result, over the past year, the Foundation conducted dozens of interviews, trainings, and consultations and formed 26 pairs of adults and orphans. At the same time, the task was difficult, as mentors were searched for children from the category of “hard to place in families”.
We were particularly struck by the following story:
The boy A. was placed in an orphanage after suffering long-term abuse in his family. As a result, the child was extremely anxious around people, especially adults. Nevertheless, he wanted to meet his mentor, even though he was very nervous.
With the help of psychologists and orphanage staff, the couple worked on their relationship for a long time. At first, A. was scared to be alone with his mentor. After a few months of participating in the project, the boy agreed to go for a walk with his mentor and started talking more about his interests and even feelings.
The CSS competition support has ended, but the project "Everyone Needs a Buddy" will continue. It will help more orphans in the Krasnoyarsk Region find reliable adults. The couple we wrote about will also be preserved. The child who has experienced severe stress will gradually start to trust people again.
