Live at home
The Life Route Foundation has published a book on how to organize the living arrangements of people who move from the PNI to apartments for accompanied living. Despite the fact that the manual is called “short”, the information on the pages is quite comprehensive.

For example, the authors tell how and where to look for employees for the role of supervisors in the project and what skills the applicant should check before hiring. Or about the important things to pay attention to when moving a client from a psycho-neurological boarding school to an apartment.
Of course, most of the manual is devoted to the art of interacting with clients.
The authors give practical recommendations on the process of young adults' adaptation to a free life. Among other things, they tell how to help new residents accept the rules of the house, how to help young people find employment according to their likes and skills, how to solve conflicts between neighbors in a shared apartment.
Respect for the client and his or her individuality permeates the entire book. At the end of the manual we are logically led to human-centeredness - a necessary condition for fruitful, interesting, mutually beneficial work in such projects.
The reader learns about case management and the practice of maintaining personal profiles for each apartment resident. According to the experience of the Life Route foundation these tools help to build harmonious relationships between curators and mentees and help in unforeseen, difficult situations.
We would like to note that the book contains many examples from the work of the foundation, as well as templates of protocols, forms and job descriptions.
