Stronger with CSS competition
Since 2020, the main program of the CSS Charitable Foundation has become the Stronger with CSS Grant Competition among non-profit non-governmental organizations dealing with acute problems of families and children. The aim of the competition was to identify the most promising projects in the field of childhood and assistance to people with disabilities and their financial support in the form of grants.
The charitable program supports children and young adults with disabilities, promotes the preservation of children in blood families, helps children left without the care of blood parents find a new family, supports parents by increasing their parenting competencies, providing high-quality consulting support.
The Foundation's priority support is enjoyed by projects that disseminate successful social initiatives and assistance practices in the regions (outside Moscow and St. Petersburg), projects with proven effectiveness, partnership projects, projects aimed at creating new types of assistance and services.
The charitable program is focused on achieving sustainable, scalable results and long-term effects. The main principles are openness and transparency, awareness of performance results, individual approach, consistency and proportionality.
Objectives of the program
Assistance in the development and implementation of projects that provide comprehensive support and assistance to the beneficiaries of the program.
- Promotion of activities in the field of education, science, culture, enlightenment and physical development.
- Promotion of activities in the field of prevention and protection of the health of citizens, as well as the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, improvement of the moral and psychological state of citizens.
- Assistance in the acquisition of professional skills by the Beneficiaries.
- Promotion of volunteerism.
Objectives of the program:
- Identification and support of non-profit non-governmental organizations that offer for implementation ways to solve the problems stipulated by the goals of the program by holding a quarterly competition in each direction of project implementation.
- Financing of projects selected on the basis of a competitive process.
Beneficiaries of the program:
1. NGOs implementing effective social projects and programs.
2. Beneficiaries of NPOs:
- children left without parental care;
- children with disabilities, that is, having special features in physical and (or) mental development, and their families;
- children in extreme conditions and their families;
- children who are victims of abuse and their families;
- children living in low-income families;
- children with behavioral problems and their families;
- children whose vital activity is objectively impaired as a result of the prevailing circumstances and who cannot overcome these circumstances on their own or with the help of their families.
The procedure for the competitive selection of applications to «Stronger with CSS»
Stage 1. Application campaign
Stage2. Technical review of applications by Foundation staff to ensure that they meet the formal criteria set out in the documentation on the competition.
Stage 3. Review of applications by independent experts. Based on the results of the expert review, the Foundation draws up a preliminary shortlist of finalists whose projects scored the highest and submits it to the Competition Committee
Stage 4. Review and approval of the shortlist of the finalists by the Competition Committee.
Stage 5. Video interview and additional verification.
Stage 6. Announcing the winners of the competition.
